<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Aiming at the problem that the navigation accuracy of integrated navigation system of aircraft decreases due to uncertain faults in high dynamic environment, a fault-tolerant federated filtering algorithm based on vector information assignment was proposed. The fault detection function in vector form was designed to determine the fault degree of each observation, which overcomes the disadvantage of isolating all the observations of the fault subsystem at the same time. According to whether the observations were abnormal, the variable measurement noise matrix and information distribution vector coefficient were reconstructed to distribute the information among the state variables of the sub-filter. While isolating the abnormal observation of the fault subsystem, the correct observation information was utilized to the maximum extent. Simulation results show that the algorithm can give full play to the advantages of each navigation subsystem, greatly improve the utilization rate of navigation subsystem information, and have high accuracy and fault tolerance.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Strapdown inertial navigation system has been the main navigation and positioning method for long voyage and long-endurance underwater navigation. In order to solve the problem that velocity information provided by Doppler velocity log and position information provided by acoustic single transponder are easily contaminated by non-Gaussian noise, a federated robust Kalman filter algorithm was proposed. In the proposed method, the Mahalanobis distance algorithm was used to introduce a inflated factor to inflate the measurement noise covariance, which can improve the robustness of integrated navigation system. At the same time, the information distribution coefficient was adaptively tuned based on the performance of the sub-filter, which can guarantee the accuracy of integrated navigation system. The semi-physical simulation test for underwater integrated navigation was carried out by the federated robust Kalman filter algorithm and traditional federated Kalman filter algorithm based on measured data of the river test. The experiment results demonstrate that the federated robust Kalman filter algorithm has better performance in underwater integrated navigation compared with the traditional federated Kalman filter algorithm under the non-Gaussian condition and it can meet the requirements of fault tolerance and robustness for underwater integrated navigation system.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[The trajectory characteristics of the near-space hypersonic glide vehicle are mainly under the influence of the initial state of glide segment and control law of the vehicle. Therefore, the influence of glide segment initial state on trajectory characteristics of hypersonic glide vehicle was studied under the condition that the control law of vehicle is determined. According to the different forms of glide trajectory, under the condition of longitudinal equilibrium glide, the analytical formula of the vehicle state variable was derived theoretically, and the uniqueness of initial state of the equilibrium glide trajectory was analyzed in combination with the equilibrium glide condition. Under the condition of longitudinal skip glide, the evaluation indices of trajectory performance were constructed, and the initial state of glide segment with optimal trajectory performance was found by using the group intelligence algorithm. Through the single factor sensitivity analysis, the sensitivity analysis of the initial states of two forms of glide trajectory was carried out, and the initial velocity of initial state has the greatest influence on the trajectory characteristics. The analysis of the uniqueness and optimality of initial state can be used for reference in the trajectory design, trajectory tracking, trajectory prediction and trajectory optimization of hypersonic glide vehicle.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Aiming at the shortage and backlog of equipment maintenance material, and the inefficiency of equipment distribution system in the current equipment supply system, the integrated optimization of production, inventory and distribution operational links is a critical need. In order to reflect each decision link, the problem was formulated as a MILP with multivariable and multiple constraints. A two-level mathematical-programming-based heuristic was developed to solve it. In an actual example, the proposed model was validated; the algorithm and the CPLEX solver and a similar algorithm were compared and described in aspects of solution quality and computation time. Results show that the proposed model is feasible, and the algorithm exhibits extraordinary performance in solving different scales of instances.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[A high-quality scheduling scheme can not only satisfy users′ demands but also provide a basis for scientific decision-making of tracking and data relay satellites system. Aiming at the increasingly diversified users′ demands, a novel application paradigm for tracking and data relay satellites system, in which users can submit multiple service time windows that can slide within a certain period, was adopted. To handle this application paradigm, by considering the flexibility of task scheduling and the conflicts among tasks, a mathematical programming model for relay satellite schedule was developed and a scheduling algorithm based on stochastic search strategy was designed. The proposed algorithm includes five operators, i.e., resource matching and neighborhood construction, actual service time windows generation, conflict evaluation, local search and conflict resolution, and solution update. The proposed algorithm was verified by comparing with the heuristic algorithm based on time freedom degree according to extensive simulation experiments.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[In the context of the increasing maturity of on-orbit service and the growing application requirements, taking the on-orbit servicing spacecraft as research object, the satellite-oriented on-orbit servicing mission planning problem was studied, and the way how to rationally arrange and deploy on-orbit servicing resources was discussed. The problem was decomposed into two sub-problems, namely on-orbit service resource allocation and on-orbit service path planning, and the corresponding bi-level mathematical models were established. An on-orbit service mission planning method was designed, including chaotic genetic algorithm based on multi-group parallel evolution and NSGA-Ⅱ+GSDE algorithm based on global coordinate transformation. The feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm were verified through comparative analysis of simulation results.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[In recent years, multi-modal haptic rendering featured with multi-contact interaction has become a research focus in the human-computer interaction due to its ability to further enhancing the sense of reality. A multi-modal haptic rendering system for multi-contact interaction was presented, which is composed of Leap Motion sensor based multi-finger position detection module, vibration-based tactile rendering module, NRF51822 blue-tooth communication module, visual rendering module, and CHAI3D based virtual environment. To verify the efficacy and effectiveness of the proposed system, the virtual object contour recognition experiments and object pick-and-place experiments were carried out. Experiment results show that the average success rate for distinguishing geometric virtual objects is 87.9%, and the pick-and-place experiment with combined haptic rendering and visual rendering can lead to an average time saving of 47.7%, compared with that of single visual rendering condition. The proposed multi-contact haptic system features the virtues of low cost, small size, and simple control strategy, which lays out a profound foundation for the further development and application of multi-modal human-computer interaction.]]></description>

The uniform circular array was transformed into the virtual uniform linear array in space model by mode excitation, and the principal eigenvector matrix was obtained by data covariance matrix; the weighted least square method was introduced to get the linear prediction coefficient between each element in subspace matrix and to acquire estimation of DOA of coherent signals. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has good estimation accuracy, high resolution and low complexity.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[The cathode of MITL (magnetically insulated transmission line) of large scale pulse power plant can be more than ten meters, and the deflection of cantilevered structure end as a result of gravity might be as big as several centimeters. If without alignment measures, the gap error between anode and cathode will lead to obvious current loss. By taking reference of the alignment strategy of Hermes Ⅲ based on tilt spacers, a so called ‘Mini-MITL’ cathode was designed for the validation of alignment principle. According to the parameters of the designed cathode, as well as the rotating angels of the tilt spacers, a numerical coordinate model of key points of the cathode stalk was built. The vertical and horizon coordinates corrected by tilt spacers were thus got. For validation, coordinate measuring reference was built in SolidWorks environment. The coordinates of 3D simulation and numerical model matched well. The deflection of the designed cathode was simulated by SolidWorks Simulation. The rotating angles of tilt spacers were adjusted according to the simulation results to balance the vertical deflection and keep the horizon straightness. The alignment errors of vertical and horizon direction were both less than the threshold. Continuously adjusting strategy was studied based on the discretely adjusting strategy. The alignment accuracy was notably promoted after improvement.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Numerical investigation of a 80°swept delta wing rock characteristics was presented by solving N-S (Navier-Stokes) equations coupled with Euler rigid-body dynamics equations, and the influences of leading edge configuration and roll-axis installation were discussed. For the unsteady simulation of self-induced wing rock phenomenon, the Roe scheme and LU-SGS method with dual-time stepping approach were employed for NS equations discretization, the second order differential scheme was employed for Euler rigid-body equation discretization, and the loose-coupling approach for flow control equations and movement control equations was implemented. For the delta wing with a roll-axis located on the upper surface, three leading edge configurations, including upper beveled, lower beveled and double beveled were used for evaluating the influence on the amplitudes and bifurcation angles of delta wing rock. In view of the configuration equivalence of upper beveled delta wing and lower beveled delta wing, the influence of roll-axis installation was evaluated also. The results show that under a certain attack angle, all of the three delta wings with different leading edge configuration establish large and self-retained wing rock amplitudes, and the largest amplitude is observed with upper beveled delta wing, the double beveled delta wing takes the second place and the amplitude of lower beveled delta wing reaches the least degree. For the attack angle of 30°, the roll-over phenomena are observed at the delta wings with upper and double beveled leading edge configuration, and when the roll angle reaches to 180°, the oscillation amplitude remains unchanged.]]></description>

Through investigation and empirical research, the roles of government and the enterprises as market players in catching up with world supercomputing technology pioneer were analyzed. For the requirement of strategic development, Chinese government has formed a solid accumulation of knowledge and talents through long-term funding under the condition of very limited financial capacity. To meet strategy of scientific and technological innovation, Chinese government has led cluster innovation across the country to achieve China′s supercomputing summit and built national supercomputer foundation facilities. To meet the strategy of comprehensive development, supercomputing applications are fully developed. <description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Ice accretion affects flight safety severely. Intelligent ice accretion prediction is an important basis and support for the intelligent anti-icing and de-icing system design and safety design of aircraft. To solve the problem that there are multiple values of ice thickness in the normal direction of the same position of the airfoil surface with complex ice shape, a graphical ice accretion prediction method based on the transposed convolution neural network was proposed. The corresponding neural network structure, loss function and data specification of the prediction model were designed. The input of the prediction model was the data from flight and atmospheric conditions which directly affect ice accretion. The output of the prediction model is gray-scale image of ice shape. Ice shape data set was generated through numerical simulation method based on NACA0012 airfoil. To ensure the credibility of the generated data, wind tunnel test data was used to verify the numerical simulation method. Prediction model was established with five input parameters:liquid water content, median volumetric diameter, freezing time, temperature and flight speed, and was then trained and validated in simulation. The simulation results show that the proposed method can predict the ice shape quickly, and the main features of the predicted ice shape such as outline, upper and lower limits, position of ice horn and thickness fit well with the results of numerical simulation.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Satellite stealth technology occupies a unique position in the space attack and defense system. It has certain similarities with the stealth technology applied on ground armored vehicles, warships, and aircraft. However, due to the different satellite development conditions and the space environment, satellite stealth technology faces greater challenges in its research and application. The requirements and conditions of satellite stealth technology were summarized on the basis of satellite engineering application. The international cutting-edge stealth technology was systematically reviewed. This research focuses on radar stealth methods, and infrared and visible light stealth methods. The technical bottlenecks and future prospects of satellite stealth were discussed, in the aim to promote the application of stealth technology on satellites.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[In order to achieve good active control effect of fluctuating-frequency and dense-frequency sinusoidal vibration induced by multi-sources which may occur in active-passive vibration isolation devices of marine machineries, the improved algorithm based on multi-channel narrowband Fx-Newton algorithm was studied. The algorithm with adaptive compensator for narrowband filter phase distortion was proposed, which can obtain high robustness for fluctuating-frequency sinusoidal vibration. Next, the multi-reference Fx-Newton algorithm was proposed to control dense-frequency multiple sinusoids in the same narrowband, under the precondition of acquiring multiple independent reference signals from vibration sources. The active control experiments show that the improved narrowband Fx-Newton algorithm can get good control effect on the fluctuating-frequency sinusoidal vibration, and can achieve stable and efficient control on the fluctuating dense-frequency sinusoidal vibration excited by two exciters or two air compressors.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Aiming at the limitation that methods based on Kalman filtering framework can deal with the known Gaussian white noise only, an improved method was proposed to deal with the system with heterogeneous noises. The disturbance from an unknown system was classified to Gaussian white noise and unknown but bounded noise which are both added into the state equation and observation equation on the basis of the noise characteristics analyzed. The set-membership filter was employed to improve standard Kalman filtering, and the adjusted value of the gain filtering was obtained by calculating the minimum mean square error of system with two noises. The improved filtering was proposed to incorporate the estimator statistics of the set-membership filter, two noises statistics and the adjusted filter gain. The improved algorithm was applied to an uncertain vehicle navigation system, and the simulation results show that the improved filtering algorithm which overcomes the heterogeneous disturbance noise performs better than the extended Kalman filtering.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Based on the LQR(linear quadratic regulator) control method, a frequency domain weighted LQR controller was designed. By improving the commonly used filters, a new filter design idea was proposed. When the vibration source frequency is lower than the lower limit response frequency of the actuator and the actuator produces a reduced output, the control performance of the frequency band lower than the lower limit of the actuator response is improved by changing the filter parameters, increasing the weight and control force of the low-frequency part. The simulation results show that the frequency domain weighting method can improve the control performance of the LQR controller in a specific frequency domain, and the control performance of the improved frequency domain weighted LQR controller based on the new filter is further improved beyond the lower limit response frequency.]]></description>

The relationship between the important measure of random forest and the variance-based global sensitivity measure was explored, which can give a novel way to solve variance-based main sensitivity index S<sub>i</sub> and total sensitivity index S<sup>T</sup><sub>i</sub>. The importance measure of single and group variables based on random forest were established to improve the corresponding measure index system. Several examples are given to verify the validity of the proposed important measures and the correctness relation derivation about variance-based sensitivity indices.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[The rapid development of high-performance computer provides the hardware environment for high performance numerical simulations. Many numerical simulations have the ability of handling meshes from billions of elements to tens of billions. However, the development of parallel mesh generation, which is a critical step in numerical simulation, is relatively lagging behind. Thus, a multilevel parallel unstructured tetrahedral mesh generation algorithm for complex geometric models was presented. Firstly, a sizing-function of the mesh was established on the basis of the geometric features of the model, and the geometric entities were grouped on the basis of the sizing-function and the adjacency relationship between the geometric entities. The grouped geometric entities were distributed to different computing nodes. Then the triangular meshes were generated by the advancing front method among the nodes. And the triangular meshes were decomposed into sub-meshes which were distributed to each process. Finally, a multi-threaded parallel algorithm was used to generate tetrahedral meshes in the process. The proposed parallel mesh generation algorithm was validated on the Three Gorges Dam model, and the results show that the presented algorithm has good parallel efficiency and scalability, and can generate billions of high quality tetrahedral meshes for modern supercomputers with thousands of processor cores.]]></description>

The target UAV navigation and control systems got the fictitious position information caused by the spoofing signals that were produced by combination of accurate position information of the target and the induction strategy. The target UAV changed its flying attitudes and deviation from the pre-specification air route. Experimental results demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed induction strategy.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[To fully make use of the value of BeiDou signals big data resources and expand its applications in atmospheric and oceanic fields, a method to monitor rainfall information using polarimetric phase shift of BeiDou signals was studied theoretically. Based on the frequency and polarization characteristics of BeiDou signals, the microphysical process of BeiDou signals passing through rain area and interacting with raindrops was analyzed; from the definition of polarimetric phase shift, the mathematical model between polarimetric phase shift and rainfall intensity was established and analyzed by numerical simulation method. It is concluded that the polarimetric phase shift of BeiDou signals is sensitive to rainfall intensity, which illustrates the feasibility of monitoring rainfall intensity by BeiDou signals. The influence of some key factors such as raindrop size distribution, path length of rain area and elevation angle of satellite on polarimetric phase shift is systematically studied, and reasonable suggestions are put forward for subsequent experimental verification.]]></description>

<description xmlns:cf="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/rss/core/2005" cf:type="html"><![CDATA[Based on 0.18 μm CMOS process, a low-variable tuning gain LC-VCO(inductance capacitance-voltage controlled oscillator) was designed for wireless communication and radar systems. The circuit includes a distributed bias varactor array and a switched capacitor array, a reasonable selection of the bias voltage can achieve the purpose of expanding the C-V(capacitance-voltage) curve, thereby effectively reducing the tuning gain within the entire tuning voltage range. The three-bit switched capacitor array divides the entire adjustable frequency range into 8 sub-bands, which is implemented by controlling the varactor array. And the switched varactor array is adopted, which can effectively suppress the variation of the LC-VCO tuning gain. Based on the model of 1P6M 0.18 μm technology, the post-layout simulation results show the good performance on property of tuning gain variation rate, which is 21.5% with the frequency tuning range from 9.13 GHz to 11.15 GHz, at the same time, the VCO DC power consumption is 9 mW with 1.8 V supply voltage, the phase noise is -105 dBc/Hz@1 MHz when the VCO oscillating frequency is around 10 GHz.]]></description>
