| 语音矢量量化编码是一项新技术，具有很大的实用价值。本文简要地阐述矢量量化原理之后，着重介绍语音波形矢量量化编码、语音参数矢量量化编码、以及混合形式矢量量化编码，综述近年来国内外学者在这几个方面取得的一些成果，预测它们的发展动向。 |

| Abstract: |
| Vector Quantization (VQ) for speech coding is an advanced technique with great practical value.
In this paper a simple description of the VQ's principles is presented. Next，VQ for speech waveform coding，speech parameters coding and their mixed form coding are described respectively. Then，an overview of them during the past few years and the prediction of their developing tendency are presented. |
