本文用紫外—可见吸收光谱研究了镧系金属(Ln)与二甲酚橙(XO)生成的配合物水溶液可逆热致色变规律,提出了变色因子 Fc=|⊿A1十⊿A2|,并用Fc值初步探讨了Ln(Ⅲ)—XO体系热致色变程度与镧系元素原子序、三价金属离子半径及Ln(Ⅲ)f电子数之间的关系,揭示了其间分别存在的“双 W 型”效应。说明镧系金属离子(Ⅲ)电子构型也是影响 Ln(Ⅲ)—XO 配合物热致色变作用的一个重要因素。
Abstract:
Reversible thermochromisms in the aqueous solutions of the lanthanide chelates with xylenol orange have been investigated by visual observation and spectro-photometry at pH 4.0. The color change factor Fc,defined as Fc=|⊿A1十⊿A2|, is suggested for characterizing the thermochromic extent of the chelates. The relations of the Fc value with the number of lanthanide elements,the ionic radii and the number of 4f-electron of the Ln(Ⅲ)-ions,which shows remarkable "double W" effect,have been studied and explained by"hole theory".
