Graphical Kernel System (GKS) is a unique international standard for two-dimensional graphic software，and it has been ratified by the Chinese Standards Institute as a Chinese National Standard. YH-GKS is a graphics software system designed for the YH computer，and is based on the GKS, the design features and implementation methods of YH-GKS are presented in this paper.
