This paper uses patched grid method to divide grids and parallel software platform PVM based on message-passing to distribute computational task. The large scale parallel numerical simulations of 3-D supersonic blunt body base flow are accomplished. The results show that the pressure characteristics in base are coincident with experimental results and base flow's topological configurations are reasonable.
