On-line monitor of partial discharge is an important measure to ensure that the electrical power equipment works well. Based on the theory of transformer, the paper proposes the equivalent circuit and parameter calculation of PD pulses of current sensor. The developed method is used successfully for sensor design of factual PD on-line monitor.
