In order to find a calculation method for the design of Vlasov-type mode convertor, the electromagnetic radiation field of Vlasov radiator is calculated with vector diffraction theory by constructing a proper model, and the field scattered by reflector is also calculated. Numerical far-field radiation patterns accord basically with the measured results, which shows that it is useful for the design and analysis of Vlasov-type mode convertor.
