Based on the low efficiency of the microstrip patch antenna, a novel easily-fabricated microstrip antenna is presented. The simulation and theoretical analysis is made on the antenna. The measurement of novel antenna's gain is about0.3dB higher than that of the conventional one. The new antenna is worth using owing to its easy fabrication and good qualities.
