An analysis of time-domain scattering field has been given in soil with 2-D FDTD, and the numerical results are verified by comparing with the theory.The detecting of the underground pipe was simulated by using GPML absorbing boundary condition,numerical results of scattering of pipe are given in different sizes and different depths.
