Some effective modifications upon NSGA-II were proposed to further improve its optimization ability, which results in a hybrid multi-objective optimization algorithm. In the hybrid algorithm, Taguchi-method was incorporated into the crossover and mutation options of NSGA-II, whose effectiveness was approved by experiments on typical test functions, and the hybrid algorithm can be easily implemented since it makes no change on the framework of NSGA-II.
