A recursive formula of toeplitz determinents is derived in this paper. An order determination method which is excellent in amount of calulation is obtained by applying the formula to the rank determination of Toeplitz arrays. Its practical several examples are given later，and finally the simulated result shows the feasibility of the algorithm.
