In this paper，a new method is provided to fit the fatigue test data of S-N curves using the expression N（S-S₀)^m=D which can be applied to engineering extensively. By means of the direct modelling method of GM(1，1) in the grey system theory，three parameters S₀，m and D are determined. The calculation shows that this method is accurate，simple and practical.
