This paper describes an intellectualized phase-measuring system using a single-chip microcomputer technique，supported by proper software，this system can overcome the shortcomings of complex hardware construction and possess good performance characteristics，such as high measurement accuracy，wide input frequency range，ease of operation，etc. This paper has given a full description and discussion on the hardware and the software used in the system.
