    Abstract:

This paper presents an algorithm based on ?TOA and azimuth measurements of receiver together with the intermittent height information of transmitter for 3-D location and tracking of the moving targets in bistatic radar systems. The location principle of the technique is analysed in detail. Under the condition of eletronic countermeasure, it is sometimes difficult to transmit the information of transmitter to receiver continuously for data fusion. Therefore it is necessary to study the way of how to use intermittent data. With the help of computer simulation, the paper evaluates the performance of this algorithm for typical target paths. The fusion technique proposed in the paper is still within tentative exploration in bistatic research field,so it has much room for improvement in the future.
