In this paper，the dynamical behaviour of the van der Pol oscillator with the negative feedback is studied based on the nonlinear dynamics and the feedback control theory. The local stability and Hopf bifurcation behaviour are analysed by the center-manifold method and formal-Series method. The calculation results are brought about by Runge-Kutta method.
