In this paper，we study the algorithm to find prime implication sets in multistate system fault tree. The paper first introduces the cube expression method of sets，and sets up operation rules on it，then the algorithm to find prime implication sets in multistate system fault tree is given，finally the validation of the proposed method is proved by example.
