    Abstract:

The relation of the thermal conductivity of diamond/Ag composites to the particle size and volume fraction of particles in the composites is investigated in this paper. The influence of thermal boundary-resistance on thermal conductivity of composite material is discussed in particular. The thermal conductivity of diamond/Ag composites can be improved by the titanizing diamond particles, because of the improved wettability between diamond and silver, and reduction of thermal boundary-resistance.
