This paper presents the determination methods of the evolved NH₃ from thermal analysis by chemical absorption-photometry (CAP) and combined thermogravimetry-gas chromatography (TG-GC).The two methods are simple, rapid and exact. A recovery within 100±6% is generally obtained. The applicable range of these methods is compared.
