    Abstract:

A finite element model for the joints in multi-body structures has been presented. Based on the mechanical principles, the stiffness matrix and damping matrix of the finite element of the joint have been deduced. By this way, the non-continuous physical system becomes continuous mathematically. So, the idea presented in this paper gives us another way to analyze the dynamical problem in a multi-body structures.
