    Abstract:

The implicit varied coefficient residual smoothing technology was introduced into the four-stage Runge-Kutta scheme to increase the computational efficiency for unsteady supersonic flow under keeping second order accuracy in time and space. The computational results achieved by four-stage Runge-Kutta scheme and dual-time method were compared through numerical simulation unsteady harmonic oscillating flow around sphere-cone.
