    Abstract:

    PSpice equivalent circuit is created to simulate the process of a Vircator driven by an inductive storage system. Current through and Voltage across the Vircator are investigated using the circuit. The models for electric exploding wires and vircator are established, which could be used to quickly form the simulation circuit and obtain the simulation results. Numerical results show that parameters of the pulse transformer and the electric exploding wires along with the transparency of the anode foil affects the voltage and the current of the Vircator load.
