A representation method for 3D topological structure based on couple is proposed in a certain divided space. The structure defines four basic topological relationships on the couple (oriented face, arc).Through these basic relationships, the implementation algorithms for four important topological query are discussed. Thus it is shown that the 3D topological can deduce all kinds of topological relationships, especially topological relationships between 3D body objects, independent of geometry embedding.
