Abstract:The existing models of evaporation of liquid propellant droplet under high pressure have been modified by the authors. A submodel of solution of surrounding dielectric gas in droplet was developed to investigate the effect of solubility on evaporation under high pressure. A modified R-K equation of gas state was used in the model. Using the model, the evaporation of propane droplet in a nitrogen environment was simulated. It was found that the evaporation time of droplet decreases with the increasing of pressure and environment temperature and that the droplet wi1l reach a supercritical state when the pressure is greater than a critical value. The solution of surrounding gas in droplet is very obvious under high pressure, and the higher the pressure, the greater the solubility. So it is important to take the effect of the solution into account in high pressure combustion of propellant.

Abstract:In this paper,a new method is presented for the pneumatic computation of aerobat with steering control engines at the base. The method is an organic combination of S. C. Ward's engineering method and the axisymmetric numerical simulation method developed by the authors earlier for the supersonic strong interaction flow field with transverse injection at the base. It can estimate the total propulsive forces and the additional pitching and yawing momentum coefficients, including both direct and indirect parts. The base drag coefficient CD decreases as compared with the case without injection.
Abstract:In this paper, the problem of velocity control of maneuvering reentry vehic1e is described in detail. First,an optimal guidance law applied to attacking the fixed target is derived with the velocity directing to the ground. Second, the design methods of the ideal velocity curve design and the detailed ways of controlling the falling velocity value are discussed. And it is proved by means of simulating computation that a considerable accuracy of falling velocity control has been obtained.
Abstract:For missile flight test, telemetering data and exterior ballistic measuring data are the basis of precision and reliability analysis. Usually, we assume that exterior ballistic measuring error has normal distribution with zero mean. But during the real measuring, it is possible for exterior ballistic measuring parameters to cause system error. It has bad influence on the information obtained from flight trajectory and fall point. With the given model hypothesis, the estimation of exterior ballistic measuring system error is obtained in this paper. Futher more, some simulating results and their preliminary analysis are given.
Abstract:In this paper, the characters of a large-mass rigid body fixed to conical shell are considered. The displacement of the centre of mass and angular displacement of the body related to the displacement of nodal circle of finite element are obtained for each circumferential wave number. Comparing the results with those in actual motion, the correctness of the conclusion is demonstrated. This provides a theoretical foundation of dynamic analysis for the shells with rigid body of large mass.
Abstract:GKD-l RRC controller is a new type of real-time robot controller designed for the research of the robot force-feedback compliance control. This paper firstly introduces the main performances and features of GKD-1 RRC controller, and then describes severa/forcel position mixed control experiments and its control strategies and results. These experiments are fulfilled on PUMA562 manipulator with GKD-1 RRC. In these experiments, the control period is shorten to 4.88ms; average force control static error is smaller than 100g; position control accuracy is not lower than that of PUMA562. These results prove that GKD-1 RRC controller has high performances.
Abstract:The experimental investigation of the heat transfer characteristics of the micro heat pipe used to cool the electronic components was presented in this paper. From the point of vlew of application, the concept of the maximum applicable power was proposed. The experimental results of the maximum applicable power vs. air velocity, wind temperature, mounting site and filling quantity of working fluid were given. In addition, the effect of using heat pipe for cooling modules was compared with that of using copper fin.

Abstract:A pulse width sampled-data control system for a variable thrust liquid rocket engine is studied both theoretically and experimentally. A time width input model is developed for such control systems. The stability boundary and the condition for deadbeat response are discussed. The key facters influencing the transient and steady-state response and the distinctions of this system compared with common output feedback control systems are stated. The causes of the response variation with thrust levels are also investigated.

Abstract:To monitor the vibration behavior of carrier vehicle in travel on line,a real time monitoring system has been developed. In this paper the principle of operation and design features are discussed. Composition of the hardware and flow diagram of the software are given in detail. The system has been applied in monitoring vibration overload of carrier vehicles of Asia and Ausat. The result shows that this system has achieved the expected design requirements and long-term stability and antijam features.

Abstract:In this paper, the grid generation techniques of elliptic equation are employed to generate curvilinear grids and the best difference scheme is obtained which allows fast convergence in numerical calculation by comparing four commonly used schemes. The conclusion is useful to the numerical calculation of flow, and the boundary shape is dependent on time and the adaptive grid generation.

Abstract:By contro1ing the temperature gradient and the slow cooling rate,we have prepared YBa2Cu3O7-δ bu1k materia1 by melt-texted growth (MTG) method. Structure ana1ysis and ac. susceptibility measurement show that the crysta1 is preferentially aligned and the temperature is about 92K while the onset demagnetic signal appears. only one single peak of x"appears which shows intragrain loss. The small peak moves to low temperature, the half-width of the peak widen a 1ittle,and the peak becomes stronger when dc.externa1 fie1d varies from 0 to 600 guass,We exp1ained the experimental resu1ts by the magnetic hysteresis loss.
Abstract:The paper discusses the simple coordinate transformation in non-collinear optical systems and their image quality assessment. It describes how to use the least square method and 0.618 optimization method to quickly choose the best image plane. It also presents how to apply the Chebyshew numerical integration method to form new image quality indexes used in optical automatic design of the systems.
Abstract:In this paper,a numerical example of linear fractional programming (LFP) has been constructed in which a finite sequence of degenerate bases obtained by the LFP's primal simplex algorithm in referenes [1] and [2] may yield basis cycling and hence no optimum solution could be got. So,We propose the finite algorithm using Bland's rule.
Abstract:In this paper,we transformed a piecewise-linear cost network flow problem into the linear cost network flow problem, therefore we obtained the algorithms for the piecewise-linear cost network flow problem.
Abstract:In part one of this paper,we discussed the relation between directional and normal derivatives of smooth functions on boundary of triangle or polygon. Therefore a simplified criteria is obtained for C1(C2) interpolating in triangles or polygons. In part two,a method is presented for constructing C2 interpolating functions in arbitrary triangles. Finally, the error of interpolating function is estimated, and a numerical example is given.

Abstract:The Cρ criterion[l] is recently paid much attention to as an important one of variable selection. A parallel algorithm and the number of operations (multiplications and divisions) of selecting the best subset from a11 possible subsets, with regard to a large-scale linear regression model under Cρ criterion, are presented. The simulation results for the algorithm on the vector super-computers YH-1 and YH-2 are given. The vector speed-up,ratio,s/v, approximates to fifteen and the advantages of the algorithm are shown.

The algorithm is analogous to the dual simplex algorithm for linear programming with bounded variables. The efficiency of the algorithm is proved and an example is given to show the proccedure of the algorithm.
