Abstract:Many researches on liquid rocket engine (LRE) Control have been made to meet the needs for space flight missions,such as high propulsion performance,safety,reliability and low cost,Correspondingly,new directions and new fields of LRE control research have arisen,mainly focusing on health (condition) monitoring and intelligent control. It is necessary that the intercontinenta1 missiles be made small sca1e and are 1aunched on an automobile,a train or a p1ane. So the main trend of SRM for intercontinental missi1e is to improve performance of SRM. In order to make anti-aircraft missiles tack1e the high-speed,high-maneuverab1e target,and to hide the missile site and missile itself,the main trend of SRM for anti-aircraft missiles is to develop the techno1ogy of controlled thrust and smoke1ess propellants. The main trends of boosters for 1aunch vehicles and SRM for small 1aunch vehicles are lower cost and higher re1iability. In addition,it is a1so an important tendency that the techno1ogy of SRM is app1ied to economica1 construction.

Abstract:Creep mechanics is an ancient as well as a young branch of solid mechanics. It is of practice and theoretical importance to the structure and machine desiges in choosing the work-piece dimensions and estimating the effective service life of the heat-resisting parts, such as the pressure vessels,pipings,turbine blands,or variously structural parts, protractedly operating under high-temperature, high pressure, and other harsh environments. The major task of creep research is to solve such knotty and severe engineering problems. The present paper surveys and briefly reviews the major advances of creep mechanics. It inclucles four main parts:1 Historical activities on creep mechanics;2.Some recent results in creep research;3.Several computational methods of stress analysis in common use;and 4.About creep rupture and failure. We cherish the hope that it might be of some sevice to the youthful scholars and engineers.

Abstract:The elastic-plastic line-spring model is proposed to analyse the dynamic fracture of a cracked beam of ductile material in present paper. It can be expected from the numerical results that this method for the analysis of dynamic fracture under elastic-plastic conditions will be valuable due to its computational simplicity.

Abstract:The effects of different diffusion models are studied for electron distribution of plasma sheath about reentry bodies. The diffusion velocity of electron due to density gradients is much larger than that of ions because the weight of the electrons is about three orders in magnitude less than that of the ions. Both the charge separation and its induced electric field exert an influence on the particle diffusion. The electron density distribution is obtained with numerical solution under these conditions. The results are compared with other diffusion models such as the quasi-neutral model,ambipolar diffusion model,etc. It shows that the quasi-neutral assumption is valid in most region of the flowfield,but the charge separation occurs near the body surface. The dimension of the thin layer with charge separation is in the same order of Debye shield length. The electric particle distribution is influenced somewhat by the boundary effects although the neutral moleculars and atoms are unaffected. The applicability of these diffusion models is judged through their comparaision of the numerical solution.

Abstract:The regularity of the tensile strength of SiC(Ti) fiber coated aluminium and heated at various conditions was investigated,by means of fiber strength testing method. By using an ultrasonic liquid infiltration processing, SiC(Ti)/Al preform wire was prepared successfully. The experiment results of fiber and preform wire strength testing,metal1ographic analysis and SEM observation showed that SiC (Ti) fiber had a good stability,and the wire strength came up to the ROM calculated level.

Abstract:The design,preparation and test of multilayer structural composite materials against hypervelocity impact have been investigated in this paper. The multilayer structural composite materials were composed of silicon carbide ceramic matrix composites as shielding layer,hollow microsphere or density gradient composites as buffer layer and 3D fiber reinforced resin matrix composites as structural layer. The experiment results show that the multilayer structural composite materials exhibits good resistance against hypervelocity impact in wider velocity range (from 2.81 to 7.81km/sec)with lower areal density.

Abstract:An experimental impulse radar system is presented. This system,known as free space system,is located in a microwave anechoic chamber. The transmitting and receiving antennas,A/D converter,controlling board and data processor are specially designed. This system can receive echoes of many kinds of targets and obtain the results in real time. In this paper,we also discussed the data processing technique and present a regularization means to solve the impulse response,estimate AR model parameter and give the real data processing results. All these results verify the efficiency of this system. In the last,we introduce the procedure of measuring the echo signal of RAM-covered target. Through the comparison,we verify that impulse radars have the ability of anti-stealth targets.

Abstract:This paper presents an algorithm based on ?TOA and azimuth measurements of receiver together with the intermittent height information of transmitter for 3-D location and tracking of the moving targets in bistatic radar systems. The location principle of the technique is analysed in detail. Under the condition of eletronic countermeasure, it is sometimes difficult to transmit the information of transmitter to receiver continuously for data fusion. Therefore it is necessary to study the way of how to use intermittent data. With the help of computer simulation,the paper evaluates the performance of this algorithm for typical target paths. The fusion technique proposed in the paper is still within tentative exploration in bistatic research field,so it has much room for improvement in the future.

Abstract:Recognition of ghosts is a very important problem in multi-sited passive location system based on bearing-Only measurements. In this paper, the discussion is based on a passive location system which contains a fixed sensor and a moving sensor. A new method for ghost recognition is presented. The approach consists of two phases: the first step is to locate the multi-emitter precisely using extended Kalman filter,Secondly recognizing the ghost with space correlation processing. Computer simulations show that the above recognition method has good performance when angle span between two targets is larger than the standard derivation of angle measurements. The accuracy of true target location by this system in multi-emitter condition approaches to the same value as in single emitter condition.

Abstract:FSTRP (Fine Sequentia1-Three-Points)-a new method for on-line measurement of the straightness of precision machine tools and machined workpiece is proposed in this paper. Abstract:In this paper,based on the general condition monitoring model and strategies,taking vibration signals monitoring for example,two kinds of feature parameters have been extracted to monitor devices and processes of the flexible manufacturing system, the one is the variance of vibration signals,the other is the change rate of coefficients estimation of AR model of vibration signals. The monitoring system has been developed and its operating experiment results indicate the monitoring system is succinct,rapid and reliable. Abstract:This paper discusses the Bayesian method of reliability detection. We deal with two reliability models, i.e.the success-failure model and exponential life model. Reliability detection scheme is given and the probability of two kinds of error are studied. Abstract:Exploiting differential game theories, the rules for optimal firepower assignment in a fight of single-kind arms (X-forces) versus multi-kind arms (Y-forces) are studied in this paper. It is pointed out that at each stage of the fight X-forces should concentrate al1 the remaining fire-power,to attack the kind of arms of the enemy with the maximal lighting strength, which is the product of the power coefficients of both k-forces on the kind of arms of Y-forces and the latter on the former. The similar problem in a fight of multi-kind arms versus multi-kind arms, which is more important and in which much more diffioulty is, will be discussed in another paper later.
