Abstract:The functions on boundary are expanded into wavelet series, and the coefficient matrices are obtained from the values of kernal functions on the boundary using a circulant matrix method. The approximate solution of boundary integral equation is worked out by solving the unknown wavelet coefficients. An example of 2D Laplace equation is given.

Abstract:A fuzzy direction neural network classifier used for fault detection and isolation (FDI) in a liquid propellant rocket engine is proposed. The fuzzy direction neural network utilizes fuzzy sets as engine fault classes. Each fuzzy set is an aggregate of fuzzy direction bodies. A fuzzy direction body is described by a direction vector,an included angle and two radii. The fuzzy direction neural network can learn nonlinear direction boundaries in a single pass through the training data. The FDI simulation research has shown the strong discernibility of the fuzzy direction neural network.

Abstract:The physical model and calculation motheds for the stratified two-phase flow in a horizontal condensation tube are investigated in this paper. The action of gravity and the effect of mass transfer on the interfacial shear are considered in this model. The program were used to calculate the flow and heat transfer characteristics of NH3-Al horizontal condensation tube and to give the axial profiles of parameters. The effects of flow rates and cooling conditions on this profiles were examined.

Abstract:The fault that the picture resolution of digital image system is much worse than film greatly limits the application of digital image processing techniques in mesurements. Subpixel techniques can mend this fault. In this paper,we introduce the common subpixel techniques and use them in grid mesurement. A new filter-the line search algorism is given to process the strongly curved grid line and the subpixel result-suare obtained.

Abstract:This paper mainly treats the order ratio spectrum analysis(ORSA) and its application to the realtime fault diagnosis of the car-starters. First,it elaborates the principle of the ORSA and the way of generating and the method of being restrained to the aliasing and leakage in the process of order ratio sampling. Then the paper discusses how to acquire the interested noise signals in the short working process of the car-starters with the rapid acceleration, and how to extract the information of their fault features from the signals in accordance with the ORSA. Finally it diagnoses realtimely the faults of the car-starters by means of threshold judgement.

Abstract:The control properties of vortex valve for mass flow rate are numerically simulated. The time-dependent method is used to solve full Navier-Storkes governing equations. The calculation is made with the control mass added or not. The steady nozzle flowfield with vortex chamber is obtained and the nozzle mass flow rate is related with control mass flow rate. The results indicate that the vortex valve has good property for controlling nozzle mass flow rate.

Abstract:In this paper,a new method of recognizing one-dimensional range profiles of high resolution radar targets is proposed. The algorithms of image processing are used in this method. First,we code one-dimensional range, profiles, then, use Fourier transformation to extract a series of formal features which can be recognized by neural networks. The experimental results show that,in some aspect angle interval, the recognition is good.

Abstract:In the paper,a novel method of nonlinear analysis—Decomposition method is introduced. Depending on Mathematical Mechanization,it is used to analyze the second-order Phase-locked loops (PLL) with imperfect integrator, and the approximate analytic solution of phase error and frequency error are worked out. The stability is analyzed and the steady-state phase error、frequency error and pull-in time are obtained.

Abstract:The paper discusses the capacity of the single observer in a T/R--R type bistatic system without elevation message to locate and track moving targets in three dimensional space. The 3-D location and tracking of moving targets is well achieved by means of the combination of measurement data got at several observation points. Therefore the height message of targets can be extracted from variant measurement values of the difference of distance sum. The feasibility of this way is proved in the paper with the help of simulation.

The system not only makes use of the remarkable genetic algorithms searching ability and the ability to find laws from a great amount of historical data to acquire classifiers, but also posseses the following two charateristics: ①It is suitable for such complex systems which have noise and lack complete description ②The credit of each classifcer acquired by this system is identical to statistical results,so it can support meta synthesis reasoning method.

Abstract:It is very important to select a truncating point in the truncated sequential posterior odd test (SPOT), but there is no efficient method to solve the problem up to now. In the paper, the authors apply the optimization techniques to determine the truncating point. Having avoided selecting C = 1,this method can overcome the difficulties in selecting the stop time N and truncating point C, and make the selection of C more theoretically. The optimal truncating point minimizes the risks undertaken by both sides become and makes them more acceptable.

Abstract:The theory of inclusion is introduced in this paper. Two meso-mechanical expressions for the constitutive relations and effective elastic moduli of anisotropic media which include distributed inclusions are derived by self-consistent method. The effective elastic moduli of materials which may include defects or damage can be obtained by the expressions. The theoretical and effective elastic moduli of anisotropic media such as fiber composites are also obtained, thus a relationship between the meso-structures and macro-properties of materials are established by the expressions.
