Abstract:A quick calculation method for evaluation of the exhaust plumes of the rocket motors, and the effects of the exhaust plumes on the flow field around the rocket are considered. In this model, the impingement between the plumes and the surface is calculated with the Newton's theory, furthermore the disturbance between the free flow and the plumes is also considered. The results show that the method is useful for the design of spacecraft.

Abstract:For linear discrete systems with unknown noise statistics, the Bayesian maximum a posteriori (MAP) estimation of noise statistics are its real-time approximation are deduced considering that the prior information of noise statistics is normal-inverted-Wishart distribution. Based on this, the system adaptive filtering is obtained.

Abstract:For high speed roller bearings used in aircraft engine, the roller's slipping is one of the main causes which result in bearing damage. A kind of new roller bearings having non circular inner race is proved to be a valid method to solve the slipping problem. In this paper, a strategy to grinding the trilobed inner race by using linear motor control technique is presented and illustrated. Practical machining experiment has been made and machining results are satisfactory.

Abstract:The response of strain on the face of composite laminates impacted by a projectile was recorded by strain gages. According to the theory of wave propagation and continum damage mechanics, the damage and damage threshold in the glass fiber/epoxy composite laminates were measured by variance of wave speed. It was found that the damage propagation in glass fiber/epoxy composites was faster during tension than during compression.

Abstract:This paper discusses the calculation of the upper limit of two kind errors of the truncated sequential posterior odd test method in assessment of weapon accuracy which follows the normal circle distribution. The authors point out some errors in former formula, then provide new formula and samples. The authors also analyze the problem to select the truncating point.

Abstract:This paper introduces an approach to recognizing on-line handwritten Chinese characters, which gets ordered sequence of line segments based on the Dynamic Chinese Character Base-units. This approach has no restriction on writing order, and is adaptable to variants of handwritten Chinese character. As a result of testing, the recognizing rate of a system based on this approach is 97.1%.

Abstract:Knowledge representation of normal neural networks is generally distributed, so it is difficult for them to process structured knowledge. In this paper, we research on and design a high-structured neural network HSNN for solving these problems. The process of designing a HSNN is shown and the applications of HSNN in inheritance, non-monotonous reason and information retrieval are discussed.

Abstract:After analying the analogic and digital scrambling ways, line rotation scrambling, line jitter scrambling, line permutation ways of digital scrambling processing are discussed in detail. In order to protect CATV scrambling system, random number generator and data encryption techniques are used. At the end of the paper, an experimental system is described which includes the scrambling system, descrambling system and the controls of users.

Abstract:The radar signal environment near the space plate is simulated and counted by computer through the establishment of ground radar database in this paper. The thesis describes the radar record fields, computer models and simulating software block structure. Some simulating results are delivered, including the radar signal stream density and various kinds of distribution.

Abstract:The theory and method of precedent cellular arrays divider by means of FPGA are introduced. The divider is not only almost ten times faster than the software method, but also faster than the hardware divider; at the same time, the divider is integrated into one chip by means of FPGA technology. This provides a very effect access to realizing the high-speed processing module.

Abstract:The anti-stealth mechanism of UWB/IR is disscussed in details. The difference of echoes between impulse radar and conventional radar is analysed and compared in many aspects such as the UWB property, short time feature, signal precursor effects, electromagnetic missile characteristic for impulse signal, and molecular relaxation and self induced transparency of RAM. The preliminary experiment results show that UWB/IR have advantageous anti-stealth capability.

Abstract:In the paper the programmed correction of camera distortion is presented, which is based on the theory of function approximation and statistical detection. In virtue of this procedure, the camera distortion correction is straight-forward and does. not need any prior knowledge of the distortion. An accurate correction can be obtained.

Abstract:A calculation model of shear bands is proposed in this paper to describe the formation and development of the shear bands in viscoplastic materials, such as explosives, when they are acted by Combined Compression-shear Loads. The calculation results in a further recognization of the shear bands. Further more, the relationship between variation features of the shear bands and initiation of the explosives are discussed.

Abstract:This paper gives a method of modeling which is based on the following principles: The built-in function of human is underlying, the coordination in human team is external behavior, and the process of task comparison and selection is intuitional quick estimate. This is a new invention of the method of modeling for two-person team decision-making. Efficaciousness and level of this mathematical model are tested and estimated. Results of the testing and estimating are satisfactory.
