Abstract:The atomization properties of annular injector in regenerative liquid propellant guns (RLPG) were experimentally investigated, by using the laser measurement of the temporal droplet size distribution of liquid spray. Empinical expression for mean droplet size of the annular injector spray was obtained. Some drop size correlation of spary models for RLPG was discussed. Valuable conclusions was presented.

Abstract:The paper presents an analytical method for the analysis of dynamic response of one dimensional structures. In the analysis, the linear partial differential equations and the inhomogeneous boundary conditions that govern the response of the distributed subsystem are Laplace transformed with respect to time, and case into a state space form. The transfer function is determined in an exact and closed form by the state space technique. The transient response is obtained using the inverse Laplace transformation. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the efficiency of the method.

Abstract:The processing and mechanical properties of 3-dimensional brainded carbon fiber preform reinforced alumina (Al2O3) matrix composites prepared by sol-gel method were investigated. The influences of different sols prepared from Al(NO3)3 and AlCl3 hydrolysis, respectively, on the processing and mechanical properties of composites were also studied. Composites I# and II# were prepared from the sols with Al(NO3)3 and AlCl3 as starting material, respectively. The viscosity of the sol Prepared from Al(NO3)3 hydrolysis was lower than that from AlCl3 hydrolysis, so the densification rate of composite I# was faster than that of composite II#. After 13 times of sol infiltration-gelation-pyrolysis, the density and the flexural strength of as-fabricated composite I# reached 1.86g/cm3 and 145.2MPa, respectively, while those of composite II# reached 1.63g/cm3 and 104.1MPa, respectively. SEM observation of all the specimen fracture surfaces showed a large amount of fiber pull-out. It illustrated that the carbon fiber played a role of toughening Al2O3.

Abstract:This paper studied the absorption and desorption characteristics of cyclohexane and benzene on the low Ni/Al2O3 catalyst by the method of TPD, and the dispersion-degree of Ni on the low Ni/Al2O3 Catalyst was determined, The result indicated that there were at least two kinds of adsorption centre on the surface of the catalyst, The dispersion degree of Ni was improved, Benzene and cyclohexane were the first order reversible adsorption and desorption process. The energetic distribution of the catalyst is unequal.

Abstract:The notion of supervisory control, is situated between those of manual control and autonomous control. In a sense, supervisory control means that the operator continually monitors and iteratively updates or modifies the program, the local control loop must be autonomous. Abstract:Video based vehicle detecting system is a profitable way in an intelligent automobile/high-way controlling system and traffic monitoring system. It is possible to have a large detection area and a flexible installation way. To improve the usability of the video-based real-time intelligent traffic monitoring system, a new idea by using 2.5 dimensions time-space image has been introduced. First, color changing and intensity transforming should modify images. Second, more features of objects including length, width, and fuzzy height information can be extracted by object's shape analysis。Thirdly, a supervised learning method using a neuro-network realizes a self-adaptive recognition system. Then combined with the color information it can give a more accurate result. All the improvement endows the system with a desirable performance.

Abstract:This paper researches into actual robot trajectory planning system (RTP-1) helped with the idea of evolutionary computation, and provides a kind of dynamic coding scheme with multi-level stucture, optimizes the distance, path and the displacement of link angles respectively by low, middle, and high level evlutionary algorithms, and solves the problem of engineer optimization with multi-goal and multi-restrain based on the multi-level optimization strategy, and establishes a currency scheme of sequence-correlated problem solving. It accelerates the process of robot trajectory planning by take advantage of Lamarck effect. This paper has realized the reasonable trajectory planning with arbitrary space lines or curves on the robot of PM-501. The realized process of trajectory planning has a fine stability, the adjacent arm-configurations has a fine flexibility and the sequence of arm-configurations has a fine flatness. The method of robot trajectory planning used in this paper can be generalized to apply in different kinds of dynamic systems.

Abstract:In the paper the creative causes and protective measures to the instant false alarm, which is one of the types of false alarms taking place in the BIT(Built In Test) system of electronics or weapon equipments, are analyzed. The basic theories of grey correlation and fuzzy neamess are offered in order to identify the instant false alarm. The environment al samples group(which are parameters of the temperature, humidity, power or vibration)and instant false alarm sample(which is due to the suddenly varying of vibration or power parameter) are got by both computer and physical simulation. Those samples are analyzed according to the measures of grey correlation and fuzzy neamess, the relationship between the sudden varying of vibration or power parameter and the instant false alarm are identifed. The results testify that the measures offered in the paper are practical in the recognization the instant false alarm.

Abstract:Based on the continuity equation and its partial derivative equation, tieratie criterions and formula iterating the recess pressure and its partial derivatives of capillary compensated hybrid journal bearings have been established in this paper. The results show that this iterative method needs only a few iterations, it is suitable for various situations and clear in physical meaning, it can save a lot of computing time by applying it in a finite element method software which calculates the static and dynamic performances of capillary compensated hybrid journal bearings.

Abstract:In this paper, the wavenumber domain algorithm for large processing-angle UWB-SAR imagery is briefly described. Then the content and necessities of Stolt Interpolation are studied. Abstract:This paper first presented a novel and simple method of image segmentation. Experiments illustrates that this method is more effective than some traditional methods, such as maximum-square-error threshold-method and mazimum-entropy threshold-method. In the algorithm of object recognition, we construct object's characters based on four affine monent invariants. Furthermore, we proposed a data-fusion algorithm based on the above characters. The performance of the proposed technique in the recognition experiments of 138 pieces of image, which gained from 18 kinds of objects, is also involved. The experiment result is satisfactory, which the correct-ratio of object recognition is above 85%.

Abstract:Discrete Multitone Modulatin (DMT) has been widely chosen for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Lines (ADSL). This Paper analyzes the effect of chipping in DMT-based transceivers and compute the chipping noise and the quantization noise produced by the D/A convertor. Compared with the no-chipping, the number of bits for D/A converter is reduced without the loss of SNR. This paper analyses a method to reduce the chipping noise and show that by this method we can get the same result under the not-optimum chipping as that under the optimum chipping.

Abstract:The mathematical methods of analysis play an increasingly significant role in planning military operations. The matrix differential equations educed on the basis of Lanchester combat models for describing the heterogeneous force combat engagements were studied. An investigation was conducted on the campaign superiority parameter derived directly from the control matrix and the initial value of the state variables without solving the equations. Battle outcome prediction, military decision support, force deployment optimization and fire allocation programming have been discussed with an air-combat example to demonstrate the important applications of the campaign superiority parameter. Evaluation of superiority parameter as well as Lanchester equations is presented in the conclusion.

Abstract:In this paper, we present a reliability growth model to describe the changes of failure rate at several stages of the development testing program. At stage k, Bayes method is used to get the failure rate of system, then the result is updated according to the duty cycle. The prior distribution of λk is developed to use the information of test 1to k-1. A growth factor ηk is introduced at each stage to show the reliability growth. A numerical example illustrates the use of the model.
