Abstract:Using modified strip distributed transfer function method, a strip element model with two nodal lines and four degrees of freedom is built for the analysis of static response. The rectangular region is divided into strips by nodal lines. The border lines are discrete. The displacements and angles of the inner lines and boundary nodes are unknown. An super element, which can couple with finite elements, is given using cubic interpolation. By using generalized function, an accurate integration method is developed to get the explicit formulation of the matrixes involved. This can improve the accuracy and efficiency of the method.

Abstract:A dynamic model of gas turbine, which takes both before-turbine and post-turbine capacity into consideration, is developed. The dynamic behavior of gas turbines in start-up by high-pressure gas is calculated by using the model, and its principal influence factors are analyzed. The calculated results show that the before-turbine capacity has notable influence on the transients of both entrance and exit pressures of the gas turbines, the post-turbine capacity mostly affects the dynamic processes of the turbines' exit pressures, and has little influence on the turbines' entrance pressures.
Abstract:A new algorithm based on genetic algorithm is formulated. A set of constraint equation is used to get float ambiguity, then Integer Gauss transformation is used to reduce the correlativity of ambiguity, then integer ambiguity is searched in transformed space using genetic algorithm. Two mutation operators are used to avoid early convergence under the condition of small population size. Simulation shows the new algorithm is more robust and efficient compared with SGA.

Abstract:PSpice equivalent circuit is created to simulate the process of a Vircator driven by an inductive storage system. Current through and Voltage across the Vircator are investigated using the circuit. The models for electric exploding wires and vircator are established, which could be used to quickly form the simulation circuit and obtain the simulation results. Numerical results show that parameters of the pulse transformer and the electric exploding wires along with the transparency of the anode foil affects the voltage and the current of the Vircator load.

Abstract:New magnetically insulated line oscillator(MILO) designs with modified structures are presented and simulated by 2D particle-in-cell (PIC) code. Relations among some parameters are analyzed. The output varying with input voltage and slow wave structure is found. That the operating frequency remains unchanged with input voltage is proved numerically and experimentally. Experiments also show that a start voltage is need for MILO to work.
Abstract:In the pressure recovery system of a high-energy chemical laser, the ejector is a very important equipment. Its efficiency influences all the system. In this paper, theory of the engineering calculation of the ejector efficiency is studied. The conservation equations are used. Since in an ejector, active and passive air has diffierent thermodynamic and physical constants. This influence must be considered in calculation. The results of the calculation of diffierent parameters show that some parameters have important influence. Some qualitative rules have got for engineering design.

Abstract:Linearization of power amplifiers has become an important issue, with the advent of linear modulation methods in mobile communication. The predistortion is the most commonly used technique for linearizing an amplifier in order to improve the linearity degree of amplifiers and reduce the out-of-band emission of the transmitter. An adaptive predistorter for linearizing a power amplifier in a mobile transmitter is studied utilizing a complex spectral convolution. Analytical and simulation results show that a complex convolution method which requires no additional local oscillator or phase reference can be used to measure the out-of-band power and utilized the scalar quantity to update the predistorter's coefficients, in order to minimize the out-of-band power.

Abstract:Distributed object technology is a good solution of software development and integration, but traditional invocation models of distributed object restrict the application of distributed object technology in high-performance distributed computing field (eg. Distributed transaction processing, distributed interactive simulation and distributed parallel computing) due to their lack of asynchronism. So, this paper presents a new asynchronous callback model based on distributed object and mainly discusses the definition, key implementation technology, optimization strategy and performance test.

Abstract:The expressiveness of current CORBA IDL is poor. Semantic properties of distributed objects can't be documented formally. The automation of the software development in CORBA is limited to the generation of the stub and skeleton that support basic functions. A kind of mechanism for customizing the dispatching and layering strategies of distributed objects is provided through extending the annotations used for describing objects behavior in IDL files. The mechanism not only improves time and space performance of applications, but also has no effect on portability and interoperability of applications. Moreover, a design pattern to resolve similar problems is presented by extending CORBA IDL.

Abstract:Among the theoretical and experimental research of the reflective intensity-modulated fiber optic sensor (RIM-FOS), a very important problem is always neglected, which is the effect on the intensity modulation caused by perpendicularity between the axis of fiber pairs and the reflector, i.e., the obliquity of the reflector. In the light of this, the mathematical analysis of this effect is performed. The simulation results of the RIM-FOS characteristic parameters with the different obliquity of the reflector are computed and the characteristic curves are plottedResults show that the obliquity of the reflector exerts great influence on the modulation function of the fiber pair.So advice is presented that the axis of fiber pair should be perpendicular to the reflector.

Abstract:Dynamic equations are derived using reduced tree model for close-chain mechanisms. The PD-based control strategy is employed to control the manipulators. In order to eliminate internal forces inherent in redundant mechanisms, a new method based on static force transformation is presented without forces feedback. Finally, a 2-DOF planar redundant parallel manipulator is utilized as the control example. Experimental results show the validity of the derived dynamic model and the proposed control method.
