Abstract:The miss distance measurement for targets in rectilinear motion and with constant velocities is studied. A miss distance measurement mathematical model is established at first. Based on it, the measurement problem is represented as the nonlinear fitting of radial distance time series in the course of interceptions, and then optimizing algorithms are discussed for solving it. Simulations show that the method for miss distance measurement based on radial distance time series is simple and effective.

Abstract:Traditional missile design procedure cannot achieve synergic design of subsystems well. Multidisciplinary design optimization technique is very suitable for multidiscipline synergic design in modern computer network environment. We introduce coevolutionary algorithms to multidisciplinary design optimization based on their substantial similarity, to sufficiently employ the merit of evolutionary algorithmsin MDO. A multidisciplinary design optimization method based on cooperative coevolutionary algorithms is presented. The algorithm is applied to missile aerodynamic/engine/control multidisciplinary design optimization, and result shows it's ability in design optimization of coupled systems.

Abstract:The performance of the missiles is determined mostly by the accuracy and dispersion of the random fall points. In small samples case, it is difficult to assess respectively the accuracy and dispersion. The integration assessment approach adopting probability circle method is proposed. The performance is accepted when the number which fall into the probability circle is larger than or equal to the number predetermined, otherwise it is rejected. The producer's risk and consumer's risk are also given. Finally, the simulation shows that the approach proposed in this paper is available. Probability circle method is simple and easy for practical applications.

Abstract:Satellitestend to be micromation in future. Itis necessary to investigate small, cheap self-contained navigation system with moderate precision. According to measuring data of three-axis magnetometer in the body frame, the attitude of the satellite in low orbit can be determined through Kalman Filter. Combining the dynamical model of satellite's attitude with the standard model of the geomagnetic field, the filter model and arithmetic used to determine the attitude of the satellite are presented. The result of simulation shows that the project of three-axis magnetometer attitude determination has a certain precision, which has an applicable future in the self-contained navigation system with moderate precision attitude determination.

Abstract:A convergent iterative solution method for cables is formulated after solving the boundary problem with differential equation of a cable. By using the iterative solution, it is simple to determine the relation among the coordinate difference of cable-end position, cable tension and cable weight. The examples demonstrate that the present scheme for cable calculation can be as theoretically concise as required, and it is convenient to be used for analysing largely deformed complicated structures including cables or cable nets, and the present method makes it possible to solve the divergence problem of stress relieve of cables caused by employing some techniques such as Ernst Model for cables.

Abstract:The cross-linking and pyrolysis of Polysiloxane (PSO)/Divinylbenzene (DVB) is investigated in this paper. It is found that only catalyzed with H2PtCl6 PSO/DVB can cure completely. When cured at 120℃ for 6hrs with H2PtCl6, the ceramic yield of PSO/DVB, the mass ratio of which is 1∶0.5, is 76%. The viscosity at room temperature of PSO/DVB and the contact angle between PSO/DVB and carbon fiber are 10.5 mPa?s and 34 degree, which make PSO/DVB very good for the preparation of three-dimension-braided fiber reinforced ceramic matrix composites. The XRD results indicate that there are SiO2 and β-SiC microcrystals in the product pyrolyzed at 1000℃ and 1200℃, which grow markedly above 1200℃. The content of Si, O, C in the product pyrolyzed at 1000℃ is 38.33wt%, 27.33wt%, and 34.34wt%, respectively. Most C existed as free carbon, and the rest randomly mixed with Si, O to form[Si(O,C)4]which are converted is to[SiO4]and[SiC4]above 1200℃.

Abstract:Interference of dual sources is an effective means of counteracting passive radar seeker (PRS). In the practice, the power of dual sources is hard to be the same, so it is possible for PRS to counteract interference of dual sources. In far field, PRS will not follow the power centroid and point the higher power source of double sources as long as the number of the seeker accumulating data is large enough. It is proven by theoretical analysis and simulation experiments. And the formulation of the number of the seeker accumulating data is given.

Abstract:The Stripmap-mode SAR is able to image larger area during the same time than the Spotlight-mode SAR. There are always some ROIs which should be emphasized in the whole SAR image. But the signature from those scatters outside the ROI will decrease the contrast of ROI's image. The digitally-spotlight algorithm is able to filter the unwanted signature before imaging to achieve the equivalent purpose to spotlight-mode SAR and increase the contrast of the SAR image. The simulation results prove its validity.

Abstract:Image segmentation and target aspect estimation are very useful for automatic target recognition in SAR imagery. Based on the MRF model, we first segment the image using ICM algorithm. According to the MAP criteria, the image is segmented into target, shadow and background. Then the target pixel closest to the sensor is obtained, and we can get the primary edge and estimate the target aspect angle based on it. These algorithms are applied to SAR imagery from the MSTAR datasets, and the result is better than by other algorithms.

Abstract:The triangle-plate model of an aircraft carrier is made using 3D Studio MAX and the radar reflecting characteristics of the carrier in X band are studied. The RCS is calculated with the plate-element method. The results show that the RCS peaks appear on the prow, the stern and the two sides, which shows the radar echo is mainly caused by the mirror reflectioin.

Abstract:FDTD is playing a key role in electromagnetic field computation. Moreover, it has been demonstrated that FDTD is special case of MRTD (multiresolution in time domain) if the base function and weight function is Haar scaling function in the course of solving Maxell equations by Wavelet-Galerkin scheme. Higher-order FDTD algorithm corresponds to Haar wavelet packet function.
Abstract:A cumulant-based direction-of-arrival(DOA) matrix is proposed, whose eigenvalues and eigenvectors can be used to get the estimates of signal directions. It differs from other doa-matrix methods in that it relaxes the requirements for array geometry, makes better use of the array aperture and is based on cumulant, which makes the new algorithm insensitive to Gaussian noise.

Abstract:In high frequency region, the radar range profiles are chosen as feature vectors for target recognition. The profile is seriously affected by the bearing. In order to make the radar target recognition more sffective, the definitions of correlation length and correlation angle are given. In frequency domain, the most important feature of the shape of a profile is mainly contained in its spectral phase, but not in its spectral magnitude. So the spectral phase is important feature information for RTR(Radar Target Recognition) in high frequency region, and should be utilized effectively.

Abstract:Teleoperation through large time delay (T3D) is one of the key techniques for space telerobotics. How to overcome the impact of the time delay in the communication links and the limited bandwidth, is the focus in the research of T3D. In this paper, the main idea of applying Virtual Reality (VR) in T3D is discussed. The relative key problems in applying VR, including teleprogramming, and model calibration, are especially concerned. Based on the concept of supervisory control and teleprogramming, an experimental telerobotics system is implemented. The system has successfully fulfilled several tasks including the peg-in-hole task.
