The trend of supercomuters is multiprocessors. Macrotask is a major way to speed up the execution of programs on multiprocessors. In this paper a introduction to macrotask is presented the implementation of macrotask is described，and the supports of compiler and operating system are discussed. Finally to macrotask programs is presented.
