Various methods for the computer aided design of microwave amplifier are outlined in this paper，the LCAD program and its characteristics are presented. Using this program，two microwave amplifiers are designed. They have excellent performance，and have been applied successfully in radar. It shows that the theoretical values are in quite agreement with the experimental values.
