AC Susceptibility on YBa2Cu3O7-δ Bulk Material by Melt-textured Growth Method

    Abstract:

    By contro1ing the temperature gradient and the slow cooling rate,we have prepared YBa2Cu3O7-δ bu1k materia1 by melt-texted growth (MTG) method. Structure ana1ysis and ac. susceptibility measurement show that the crysta1 is preferentially aligned and the temperature is about 92K while the onset demagnetic signal appears. only one single peak of x"appears which shows intragrain loss. The small peak moves to low temperature,the half-width of the peak widen a 1ittle,and the peak becomes stronger when dc.externa1 fie1d varies from 0 to 600 guass,We exp1ained the experimental resu1ts by the magnetic hysteresis loss.
