Abstract:

The ring focus antenna with hyperboloid for the subroutine is reviewed in order to solve the problem of bad VSWR of Cassegrain antenna. The best design formulas of the antenna is given. From the Law of conservation of evergy，a simple formula for calculating its radiation pattern is deduced. The antenna designed on the best design formulas has a good VSWR characteristic.
