Abstract:
An optimal overlapping boundaries model is presented, aiming at the explicit difference schemes on distributed memory parallel computing, in accordance with the architecture of distributed memory multiprocessors. This model has been successfully utilized in the optimization of distributed parallel computing of the third generation ocean general circulation model of the Chinese Academy of Science.
