Abstract:

MP3 music format which uses MPEG audio LayerⅢ compressing algorithm is popular for its high compression rate and CD-like quality. The fixed point programming of the MPEG audio LayerⅢ decoding algorithm is implemented after being simulated with C++ language, which can be used to realize the real time decoding of MPEG audio LayerⅢ based on digital signal processor.
