    Abstract:

    Hardware-software partitioning is a key problem in Hardware-software co-design of embedded system. This paper describes an approach based on genetic algorithm. Two methods, simulated annealing and selecting an individual in light of the probability, are used to enhance the algorithm's self-adaptability, efficiency and global optimization. It is validated via the partitioning results that the approach is stable, effective and efficient.
