Abstract:
The observability problem of the passive location system utilizing the radial acceleration information of the emitter is analyzed. It is proved that the range and speed information of the emitter can be determined from the radial acceleration under certain conditions, so a new target motion analytical technology using bearing and radial acceleration measures is deduced. The observability conditions for this technology are analyzed and verified with the computer simulation.
