    Abstract:

    Based on a 3rd order weighted NND scheme, a dual-time stepping method is used to solve the 2D unsteady Euler equations and the flow field of a forced vibration airfoil at transonic speed is simulated numerically. The influence of the inner iteration steps, the inner iteration tolerance and the magnitude of physical time step on the calculation results and efficiency are discussed. The results achieved with the present methodal are compared with the experimental results.
