Abstract:
Virtual surgery simulation system is one of the important tools for medical training. It can be widely applied in medical education. By the experiences in the development of the virtual surgery system for knee arthroscope, we introduce the key techniques about geometry modeling, deformation computing, mechanics feedback and special effect processing. The methods developed in this paper can be extended to other virtual surgery simulation.
