Abstract:
By the use of linear interpolation and accommodate parameter, a heat transfer bridging relation in transitional region is proposed in this paper, aiming to fix the accommodate parameter for cylinder whose edge surface is windward. The results of the bridging relation were validated by using DSMC method and compared with the results of other bridging relations. The validation shows that the bridging relation can be used to calculate the heat flux at the stagnation point with Mach number larger than 10.
