    Abstract:

    A method of particle coding based on progression was applied to the simplification of constraints in Weapon-Target Assignment (WTA) model. The original EM algorithm was modified in all steps, including the initialization of the population, the local searching, the calculation of total force vector and movement along the total force, and the WTA problems with integer solution space was settled by the algorithm. Finally, the numerical experiments verified the effectiveness of the algorithm for solving WTA problems.
