Journal of National University of Defense Technology (hereinafter referred to as "the Journal") is an open access journal. Once all submitted manuscripts are publicly published, the full texts can be permanently and freely accessed through the official website of the Journal (http://journal.nudt.edu.cn). Papers published since 1982 can all be accessed free of charge.
Peer review
The Journal implements a double-blind peer review system where "both the authors and reviewers are kept anonymous to each other", so as to avoid the influence of non-academic quality factors such as personal relationships on the fair evaluation of papers.
Authors' rights and users' rights
After a paper is accepted, the author is required to sign the "Copyright Agreement for Papers in Journal of National University of Defense Technology", and transfer the right to use the copyright of the paper worldwide (including the rights of reproduction, distribution, communication, translation, compilation, etc.) to the editorial department of the Journal.
The Journal uses the CC BY-NC license. Users can access, reproduce, and distribute the papers published in the Journal when giving proper attribution, but not for commercial purposes.
Publication fees
The papers published in the Journal can be freely accessed in full text on the official website of the Journal. The Journal does not charge any fees from authors in any form. After the papers are officially published, the Journal will pay the authors remuneration in accordance with the Measures for Payment of Remuneration for the Use of Written Works.
Archiving of back issue articles
Since 2011, all published papers have been archived in the National Library of China's National Edition Library. Since 2013, all published papers have been archived in the National Library of China. Since 1982, all published papers have been permanently archived on the official website of this journal and are available for free access to all readers. However, for back issue articles from relatively long ago, they have not been archived on the official website of this journal for the time being. If readers need the full text of relevant articles, they can obtain them from databases such as CNKI.
This journal allows authors to self-archive their articles. Authors can store all versions of their articles in the institution or other knowledge repositories they choose, but they must indicate in the repository that their articles were originally published in this journal.
